Associate in Arts for Transfer - Psychology

The AA-T in Psychology provides students with a strong academic foundation in the field and preparation for upper division baccalaureate study. Students who have completed the AA-T in Psychology will have satisfied the lower division requirements for transfer into Psychology or a similar major for many campuses in the California State University system. Please consult a GCC counselor regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution. Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to Communicate how genetics and environmental factors interact to affect behaviors. Critically analyze research articles in psychology to analyze a specific topic regarding human and animal behavior.

All courses used to satisfy the major for the Associate in Arts degree must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
