Accounting
The accounting series of courses will instruct students in how to manage financial
statements, payroll, and other accounting topics while using the Peachtree and Quickbooks
computer applications.
Students will study the full accounting cycle in Chapters 1 – 16, financial statements,
payroll, accounts receivable/payable in manual and QuickBooks and Peachtree formats.
Students will study advanced accounting Chapters 17 – 24, financial statements, uncollectibles,
notes payable/receivable, accruals, inventory, advanced accounts receivable/payable
in manual and QuickBooks and Peachtree formats.
Automated accounting for a small business use. Knowledge of accounting is recommended.
Introduction to Computers or some computer experience is required for enrollment.
