Noncredit ESL Registration

Noncredit ESL Registration is now ONLINE on MyGCC

Registration for Winter 2027 will be December 16 and December 17

Good news! Noncredit ESL students will now be able REGISTER ONLINE FROM HOME!

Follow these five steps to register from home for Winter 2026!

1. ASAP - Know your MyGCC Log-in Information 

  • Be sure to know your Student ID, MyGCC Password, GCC Email Address, and your ESL Level and class ticket number for next semester.
  • You must know all this information if you wish to register on December 16 and/or December 17.
  • Fill in your PREP Form.
  • If you do not know your information, go to Mariposa (MP) 309 as soon as possible for assistance. 

2. ASAP - Choose your Winter ESL Classes

  • Work with your ESL Instructor to decide which ESL level you want to enroll in for Winter. 
  • Use our Class Schedule to choose ticket numbers for the classes you want for Winter.
  • Select a first, second, third, and fourth choice, just in case your first choice is full.   

3. ASAP - MAKE A Technology Plan

  • When you register on December 16 or December 17 you’ll need a computer or phone with internet access to register yourself in ESL.  
  • If you don’t have internet access, plan to borrow a friend’s.  If that’s not possible, let the staff in our Counseling office Mariposa (MP) 200 know and we can assist you.

4. ASAP - Put your Classes in your MyGCC Cart

  • Come to MP 309 for help putting your classes in your cart. 
  • Watch our video explaining how to put your class in your MyGCC Cart.
  • Go to the Mariposa (MP) 309 Computer Lab if you need help with this step.
  • Be sure to check “Waitlist if class is full."

5. December 16 or December 17 - REGISTER!

  • Log in to MyGCC and check "Finish enrolling."
  • If you are a DSPS student, log in at 8 a.m. If you are a continuing student, log in at 9 a.m. If you are a new student, log in at 1:00 p.m.
     DSPS Students Continuing Students  New Students
December 16, 2026 ESL Literacy, Level 1 and Level 2 classes. Beginning Conversation and Beginning Citizenship Classes.  8 a.m. 9 a.m.  1 p.m. 
December 17, 2026 ESL Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5. Intermediate & Advanced Conversation and Pronunciation classes.  8 a.m. 9 a.m. 1 p.m.
