Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Awareness

The Violence Against Women Re-authorization Act (VAWA) is an amendment to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. This amendment requires colleges that receive federal financial aid funding to include the crimes of dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking in their annual security report, provide additional rights, services and information to victims of sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking, as well as offer primary and ongoing prevention and awareness programming and campaigns.

Glendale Community College District policy prohibits the crimes of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
