Senate Innovation Grant

On behalf of the Academic Senate, I want to share an opportunity to access funds for your innovative project, event, workshop, material request, or trip.

 

The Senate Innovation Grant (SIG) provides funding for innovative faculty projects that fulfill the mission of the Academic Senate.  Funds will be awarded to projects that are selected by the SIG Committee.

 

The GCC Foundation generously funds this award for a total of $7500, so we are able to award more faculty projects than ever before

  • Up to $2500 of funding

  • Open to all GCC adjunct and full-time faculty (yes, you!)

  • Application available here

  • Deadline: Friday, October 30, 2026 at 5:00PM

  • Projects must be completed by June 30, 2027

The Senate Innovation Grant is an award for faculty (adjunct or full-time, Verdugo and Garfield campuses) to carry out an innovative idea that benefits the students, institution, and community at Glendale Community College. The award money can be spent on student trips, exhibitions, guest speakers, classroom materials, workshops or other purposes that fuel an inventive concept
