Joggers Club Rules

Location: Glendale Community College
                  Sartoris Field
                  1500 North Verdugo Road
                  Glendale, CA 91208

Track Access Hours:

Monday – Friday (Mornings): 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday (Evenings): 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (No evening hours on Tuesdays or Fridays)
Saturday: 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sunday: 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Holidays: 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

Club Rules and Regulations

  1. The track is open for individual walking/jogging only. 
  2. No food or drinks allowed on the track or field. Expection: water is allowed. 
  3. Chewing gum and sunflower seeds are stricly prohibited. 
  4. All tabacco products are prhibited, including chewing tabacco. 
  5. No use of alchohol or other illegally controlled substances. 
  6. No open flames, cigarettes, fireworks, etc. 
  7. No long or needle-point spike track shoes are allowed on the track - 3/16th pyramid spikes only. 
  8. No metal cleats allowed on the turf field-use rubber or placstic only.
  9. No golfing or Frisbee play. 
  10. No throwing of javelin, hammer implements, discus, or shot put. 
  11. No strollers, bicycles, motorcycles, ATV's, etc. or trucks and auto traffic.
  12. No dogs or other pets are allowed.

Use of the track

  1. All college activities, classes, and athletic events have priority. 
  2. Individual joggers are allowed when there is no conflict with a scheduled class or event. 
  3. Joggers - Please use lanes 4, 6, or 7 only if GCC Athletic Department teams/groups are present. 
  4. Use of the synthetic Turf Field is by permit only.
  5. Club hours subject to change without notice.
  6. Secure lock gate door behind you and don't use or alternate the gate door to stay propped open. 
  7. Failure to follow Rules and Regulations for this facility will result in termination of all use priviledges/permits and individuals will be asked to leave the premises.
