This certificate program provides targeted instruction to practicing photographers seeking to expand their skill set. Students learn about available light, drone photography operations, and the FAA rules for drone operation. 

The Certificate is granted to students who have completed the requisite units outlined in the major requirements with at least 6 semester units of the required courses at Glendale Community College. All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better, or a “P” grade.

Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to create a cohesive photographic project that is conceptually and technically well developed using aerial stills and videos; and capture, edit, and integrate drone photography techniques and workflows into their photographic practice legally and safely operate a drone for photography.
