This certificate is designed for students who wish to start or manage a small business. It teaches fundamental knowledge of the basic business disciplines necessary for a successful entrepreneurship.

The Certificate is granted to students who have completed the semester units of the required courses at Glendale Community College. All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better, or a “P” grade.

Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to understand and apply the business skills necessary to start or manage a successful small business; and create a written business plan.
