Technical Theatre

This certificate provides training in basic technical theatre skills for career employment in production and performance within the theatre industry. 

The Certificate is granted to students who have completed the requisite units outlined in the major requirements with at least 6 semester units of the required courses at Glendale Community College. All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better, or a “P” grade.

Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to apply skills and knowledge of theatre in preparation for transferability or vocation; analyze a play from script to performance; identify theatre terms and occupations; and identify theatre as a collaborative art form.
