The AS-T in Mathematics provides students with a strong academic foundation in the field and preparation for upper division baccalaureate study. Students who have completed the AS-T in Mathematics will have satisfied the lower division requirements for transfer into Mathematics or a similar major for many campuses in the California State University system. Please consult a GCC counselor regarding specific course requirements for your transfer institution.

Requirements to earn an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT): 1. Completion of 60 semester units or 90 quarter units that are eligible for transfer to the California State University, including both of the following: a. The California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC). b. A minimum of 18 semester units or 27 quarter units in the major or area of emphasis with a grade of C or better.
