Biography:

Levin P. Messick, CAC, IFAC is a Professor Emeritus from Mount San Antonio College in Walnut, California. He has also taught classes at Fullerton College and Glendale Community College. Professor Messick is also a Certified General Appraiser with 36 years of residential and commercial experience. He is the former president of AC Appraisals, Inc., in Fullerton, CA. He was appointed as a Regional Governor of the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers who also honored him as California Appraiser of the year, in 2003. He is a current National USPAP Instructor for the Appraisal Foundation. He served on the Issues Resource Panel of the Appraisal Standards Board, of the Appraisal Foundation from 1998-2000. He is also the author or co-author of eight books on Real Estate, Economics, Finance, and banking and currency history. In addition, he has written multiple journal articles on Ethics, the appraisal of Manufactured Housing, and appraising residential and commercial properties impacted by a natural disaster.
