TECH QUESTIONS

Contact Financial Aid Office to unlock your Virtual Verification Account

DOCUMENT STATUS

Successfully completed FAFSA and CADAA applications take 3-5 days to be transmitted to our office. First, your FAFSA is processed by CPS, the Central Processing System Service, a division of the Department of Education. Then it is sent to the schools listed on your FAFSA application. A similar process occurs for CADAA applications. If it has been longer than reasonable, and you still have not received confirmation from us that your application has been received, there may be a problem with your application.

(a) Review your admission and financial aid applications to make sure your legal name, social security number and date of birth are accurately entered on both applications.

(b) If a mismatch is found or one of these 3 pieces of information is missing, you must resolve this mismatch before we can load and process your FAFSA or CADAA application.

(c) You should receive a letter from the financial aid office if there is a data mismatch problem with your application, including steps to resolve the mismatch.

If your To Do item is no longer visible in the student center, your document was successfully submitted. Your Virtual Verification document status can be viewed by logging in at glendale.verifymyFAFSA.com. Sometimes it is necessary for our staff to request additional information before your file is complete. The sooner your respond to our follow up requests, the quicker we can complete your file.

Appeals take 6-8 weeks for review and for a decision to be made. Sometimes we reach out to you for clarifying information. If 6-8 weeks have passed and you have not received a response from our office, please contact us.
