The Statement of Parent Non-Support is used when a dependent student indicates on the FAFSA that their parent(s) are unwilling to provide the information required to complete the FAFSA. Federal regulations require the Financial Aid Office to collect additional documentation before determining eligibility. This may include documentation confirming that the parent(s) refuse to provide FAFSA information and do not provide financial support to the student. Once all required documentation has been received, the Financial Aid Office will review the information and determine the student's eligibility.
