Verification of Identity

Verification of Identity helps protect your personal information and ensures financial aid is awarded to the correct student in compliance with federal requirements and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

How to Complete Verification

Students must verify their identity in person at the Glendale Community College Financial Aid Office.

Arrive Prepared

Present a valid government-issued photo ID, such as:
- Driver’s license
- State-issued ID card
- Passport
Complete a Verification of Identity Form with a Financial Aid Office representative.

After you complete the identity verification process, your financial aid file will continue through the review and processing steps.

Please Note:

The Verification of Identity Form must be submitted in person. Failure to complete identity verification may result in a delay or cancellation of financial aid eligibility, including grants, waivers, loans, and state or federal aid programs.
