Our workshops offer step-by-step support to help you navigate the process with confidence. Workshop dates and availability are subject to change, so we encourage you to check this page regularly for the latest schedule.

In-Person

Work-study students are available to answer questions, explain requirements, and guide you through financial aid forms. While they’re happy to provide assistance, they cannot complete applications or fill out forms on your behalf. Students are responsible for completing and submitting all financial aid documentation themselves. Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and support needed to successfully complete your financial aid requirements.

Please have the following information available, as applicable:

  • FAFSA or California Dream Act login information (Student and/or Contributor)
  • Social Security Number (if applicable)
  • Alien Registration Number (if applicable)
  • 2024 Federal Income Tax Return information (Form 1040 and W-2 forms)
  • Current balances in checking and savings accounts
  • Untaxed income (such as child support received)
  • Asset information, including businesses, investments, and real estate (excluding retirement accounts and the primary residence)
  • List of colleges/schools the student is interested in attending
