Federal regulations may limit financial aid eligibility for students who have already earned an associate degree or another degree at the same or higher level. If you indicated on your admissions or financial aid application that you have earned an associate degree, the Financial Aid Office must verify your educational history before determining your financial aid eligibility.

  • If you have not earned an associate degree, contact the Admissions Office to update your educational information. Once your records have been corrected, complete the Prior Associate Degree form through Student Forms.
  • If you have earned an associate degree, you may be required to submit a Term Dismissal Appeal and meet with an Academic Counselor to review your eligibility. If your appeal is approved, financial aid may be limited to the courses required to complete your current educational goal.
