IT Equipment for Faculty and Staff

The list of items provided below require approval. To request any of these items, go to Service Desk. After you complete the IT form, a Help Desk incident ticket will be created and the delivery of the product will be coordinated through that ticket.

Software

At this time, no software titles have been pre-approved. All software purchases must be reviewed by ITS.

 

Web applications and cloud services

Pre-approved campus standard for cloud technology should be used whenever possible. The cloud computing services listed below have been pre-approved:

  • Office 365
  • Google Workspace
  • Zoom
  • Canvas 
  • Mailchimp
  • Dropbox

 

Pre-Approved Categories

Products in any of the below categories may be purchased without additional ITS approval.

  • Adapters/Cables (except network patch cables)
  • Batteries (except those associated with a laptop or UPS)
  • Cameras and video cameras (excluding webcams and video conferencing cameras)
  • Digital voice recorders
  • DVD players
  • Headphones and headsets (we recommend the ThinkWrite Premium Headset (TW110) with mic, but other products are okay to purchase)
  • Keyboards
  • Mice/Track balls/Track pads
  • Toner cartridges
  • SD cards for cameras (must not store non-image data)
  • Speakers
  • Wireless presenters & laser pointers
