The Healthcare Administration certificate and Degree offer the student a comprehensive healthcare curriculum of study including Health Information, privacy laws, quality management, healthcare delivery systems, and most importantly broad scope learning on public health of our diverse communities.

Health Administration majors are in an excellent position to be competitive in the health care marketplace. Career opportunities continue to expand in Hospitals, Public health, Mental health, Managed care systems, Long term care, and community health. 

Once students complete this certificate, they will have the knowledge to solve problems and address issues in healthcare administration, understand management in healthcare services, discuss concepts of HealthCare delivery services and recognize legal and ethical issues impacting the healthcare service organization and the community.

With a certificate in healthcare administration, CA graduates may start to apply for jobs at local, statewide, and national healthcare facilities. Average income of $40,160 per year in California (Bureau of Labor Statistics, 2017). Job openings may swell 15% between 2014 and 2024.
